€275,000 Settlement for a Client Who Sustained Permanent Nerve Palsy Following Surgery

Hussey Fraser Solicitors acted for a client who received a settlement of €275,000.00 after he suffered nerve damage to his leg following surgery.

Serious injury was caused to the nerves in our client’s leg which resulted in a significant loss of function in his lower limb rendering him unable to work. An independent consultant was engaged to review the case who found serious failings in how the surgery was carried out and the lack of care and attention adopted by the surgeon in question.

We were very pleased to secure a settlement of €275,000 for our client.
