Handyman awarded €323,000 as a result of fall from ladder

Martin Ruffley sued as a result of a fall he sustained at Stacumny House, Celbridge, Co. Kildare on June 12th 2012, where he was cutting ivy from the upper part of the house and was stepping from a ladder to scaffolding, when it moved, and he fell 14 feet to the ground.

Judge Anthony Barr was satisfied that Mr. Ruffley was and is affected by ongoing pain and suffering and had suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The Judge awarded him the total sum of €323,481.
