Shauna Kenny (17) still suffers from headaches and stiffness more than two years after an electronic frame fell off a wall in an Eason store and struck her on her head.
Ms. Kenny, who was 14 at the time of the accident, was struck on her head and right wrist and suffered a concussion and soft tissue injury to her neck, lower back and wrist. Her headaches were severe for more than six months following the injury.
Mr. Justice Raymond Groarke, following talks between the parties, approved compensation in the sum of €19,000.
